Just Right For Every Body

Dear Consumer and Reader,

As the world of commerce is entering a new phase of "de-globalization" and conducting business with environmental issues in mind, I would like to convey to you the importance of thinking and pursuing a new outlook for a “Greener” environment for society's needs today and for the near and far future.

Mother Earth has been providing us with all imaginable human necessities for millennia and more. She has provided us with countless varieties of plants from which we produce our food, clothing, daily living necessities and countless more ideas that improve our daily life. All without asking for anything in return, except respect.

Hence, I envisage a “Greener” life style for all who share this fragile planet now and for future human generations to come. My hopes are for a healthier environment for all the creatures that live and work above ground and naturally also the micro-organisms that never tire working underground.

Even though I understand only some of the complexities of life in Nature, I know that all Life is delicately dependant on Mother Earth and therefore I feel that it must be balanced precisely because we are all naturally interconnected in the Endless Circle of Life.

Thus with a “Greener” thought in mind, I am offering an alternative product to help ease the burden on Mother Earth and introducing a new idea for the bathroom.

It was not too long ago that I was searching for that Something Different when I first found the softest and smoothest material made of Bamboo fibre when my inspiration soared. And now I would like to share with you this new silky soft feel that is really Something Different and naturally... Just Right for Every Body.

Bamboo in particular is a plant that grows in abundance  and is a highly sustainable crop.

Bamboo is a greatly versatile raw material as well as being a very environmentally friendly end product.

During its growing stages, the Bamboo plant develops  “Rhizomes” which are stems that grow underground and  help protect the soil against erosion.

The Bamboo plant is a cultural icon in Chinese history as well as a staple food for the giant Panda Bear.

In Japan and other countries the Bamboo is naturally a part of daily life in food and other daily necessities.

Throughout history and still today Bamboo is considered as a symbol of traditional Chinese values and is viewed as an example of harmony between Mother Nature and the Human Being.

We have been using towels made of cotton for decades but these were and still are produced from cotton be they Conventionally or Organically grown. As any farmer will attest to the fact that cotton growing and it's production is expensive in countless ways because it requires large volumes of water, herbicides and pesticides (excluding the Organic cotton) all which pollute the soil, the ground water, the air that we breathe and the underground organisms that do the tiresome work which we cannot even see let alone imagine.

Prior to cotton cultivation, Mother Earth also provided us with the Hemp plant which was exceptionally hardy, did not pollute the environment and was useful in so many ways such as in medicine, clothing, paper, oil for burning and cooking, etc. for centuries. However, Hemp does not offer the same softness as is found in Bamboo products.

Now forward to the year 2003...

The Bamboo plant flared the imagination of four Chinese researchers who invented a way of turning Bamboo fibre into Yarn. These fibres are heated, soaked in a special oil emulsion, dried then re-hydrated with another mixture of oils, and then let set for up to a week. The fibres are then spun by a variety of methods into a high quality yarn.

This Bamboo material has been especially woven using “zero–twist” technology that allows air and water molecules to be incorporated in the individual “Terry-loops” that result in the plush feel and softest touch one could ever want.

Bamboo yarn has a special quality by being naturally antibacterial and has highly absorbent properties.

The Bamboo plant is an ancient plant with about one thousand varieties grown in many parts of the world in a variety of climates and is the fastest growing woody plant in the world.

The Bamboo grows 3 times faster than the Eucalyptus and releases 35% more oxygen than other plants for example:

One hectare  =  10,000 sq. mts. of Bamboo forest can absorb 12 Tonnes of CO2 from the air and store 1,000 Tonnes of water.

It is harvested in cycles so that there is always Bamboo roots left in the ground and it's giant grass' capacity help protect against erosion after cutting. Naturally it is Bio-degradable.

Stalks are cut off above ground so that the cycle of growth is continuous  thus creating a sustainable environment, naturally without the need of any chemical applications to hasten its growth.

I have chosen this 100% Bamboo fibre large size towel of 180 cm x 100 cm after trying different size towels at international hotels and conferring with friends.

This larger size towel is specifically produced to my specifications and no other supplier stocks this larger size in that particular quality.

This is my personal preference because I like being comfortably wrapped in softness when I am wet.

The smaller size of  75cm x 45cm  Hand towel is made of 70% Bamboo and 30% Cotton with all the same great qualities.

The towels are highly absorbent because the moisture evaporates quickly and they dry fast.

With every wash, as the terry-loops expand the towels feel fuller, more luxurious and therefore even more absorbent.

As the Bamboo plants grow no pesticides or harmful chemicals are added so that the final product naturally retains its anti-fungal and anti bacterial natural properties.

Being produced of a natural fibre the towels have also anti-static properties.

Bamboo towels feel surprisingly soft and smooth and will not irritate the skin.

The towels are best cared for by washing in a natural or a Bio-degradable powder as they retain their natural softness and do not require added fabric softener even when drying in the hottest weather, and that is to be considered a valuable saving.

I feel that this larger size towel will suit the younger and the older amongst us and of course all body shapes and sizes.

These towels are Something Different and I feel they are perfectly suited to you simply because  they are...

Just Right for Every Body.

Enjoy and embrace Nature!
